Christ is the foundation for love. It's by His love we truly know love and can love. Jesus said he is the rock, the bedrock, the stone foundation, the cornerstone, and the cap stone.
Ephesians 3:19
and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.
The measure of Gods love is what fills us.
